Using a range of selection criteria, the Report Designer function enables the rapid design of ad hoc and repeatable preconfigured reports. These reports can encompass the entire set of companies and periods held within the data repository.

Report Designer allows the selection of both inputs and key computed results.

Because the Report Designer function allows design on an individual basis, each report directly reflects a very specific set of circumstances and needs. Report Designer is very easy to use and does not require any knowledge of the underlying database. Reports can be made even more flexible through the use of run-time parameters entered by the user to tailor the report to their specific needs.

For Alphatax Enterprise there is also the ability to create more complex SQL queries to extract data from the Enterprise database. Through the use of the Tax Data Warehouse, this process is extremely quick and efficient and permits easy integration with third party reporting tools such as Crystal Reports. As a result, it is possible to display Alphatax compliance status information and computed values on a corporate intranet.
